Independent since launch

About Pro Emergency Appliance Repair

An independent appliance repair company covering five states, 60 cities and 2,438 ZIP codes. Flat-rate pricing, vetted technicians and a written list of things we deliberately do not do.

Who are we and how do we work?

We are an independent appliance repair company operating across Florida, California, Illinois, New York and Texas. Technicians diagnose on site, quote one flat price covering parts and labor, and start only once you approve it. Call (844) 578-2720 to book a two-hour window.

How we got here

Pro Emergency Appliance Repair LLC was built around a single frustration that anyone who has waited in for a technician will recognise. The appointment is an all-day window, nobody calls ahead, the price appears after the work, and the invoice carries lines you were never told about.

Every operating decision here follows from fixing that. Two-hour arrival windows rather than all-day waits. A call from the technician before they set off. A diagnosis first, then a single flat price covering parts and labor, then your approval, then the work. The service call is waived when you go ahead, so the diagnosis costs you nothing if you accept the repair.

We cover five states rather than claiming a national footprint, because we would rather serve 60 cities properly than list 600 we cannot staff. Every ZIP code on this site is a code we genuinely dispatch to, and we publish the full list so you can check it yourself instead of filling in a form and waiting.

How we vet technicians

Every technician who attends your home has been through the same process, and the standard does not change between markets.

  • Verified trade experience and references checked before any solo visit
  • Background check carried out before a technician is assigned work
  • Proof of identity carried on every visit and shown on request
  • EPA Section 608 certification held by every technician doing sealed refrigerant work
  • Flat-rate quoting procedure trained and audited, so pricing does not vary by technician
  • Technician confirms appliance is working before leaving every job

What we promise

  • Same-day and next-day appointments in most ZIP codes
  • Flat-rate pricing quoted on site before any work starts
  • Factory-trained technicians for every major brand
  • Diagnostic fee waived when you approve the repair
  • Licensed and insured in every state we serve
  • On-site diagnosis before any work begins

Mon to Sun, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Call us any day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST.

What we do not do

This list is here because it is more informative than a list of things we are good at. Each one is a deliberate constraint rather than a limitation.

Sell appliances

We do not sell replacement units and earn nothing from recommending one. That is precisely why the recommendation is worth something when a technician says an appliance is beyond economic repair.

Quote blind over the phone

We will give you the published price band for your appliance and city. We will not quote a firm figure before a diagnosis, because the same symptom can mean a twenty dollar sensor or a sealed-system failure.

Charge by the hour

Hourly billing rewards a slow job and leaves you carrying the risk if a repair turns awkward. We quote one flat price covering parts and labor, agreed before work begins.

Start work before you approve it

Nothing is dismantled until you have accepted the flat price. Diagnosis, then price, then your decision, then work. In that order, every time.

Publish reviews we cannot verify

There are no testimonials or star ratings on this site, because we will not invent them. When we have verified customer reviews, they will appear here with the appliance and city attached.

Handle gas leaks, smoke or fire

We are an appliance repair company, not an emergency service. A gas odour, smoke, sparking or fire means calling your utility or 911 first. We attend afterwards.

Editorial policy

Everything written on this site is original and produced in-house. We do not copy competitor copy, and we do not publish statistics, certifications, license numbers, technician credentials or customer reviews that we cannot verify. Where a claim would need real-world verification before launch, it is marked rather than invented.

Price ranges published here are typical completed-repair bands including parts and labor, not quotes. The exact flat price is always confirmed on site after a diagnosis. Service life figures are general industry guidance and vary considerably with usage, water hardness and ambient temperature.

Safety guidance is drawn from published sources rather than from our own authority, and those sources are linked on every page where it matters.

Questions about our company

Are you an authorised manufacturer service centre?

No. Pro Emergency Appliance Repair is an independent appliance repair company and not an authorised agent of any manufacturer. We service all major brands and source parts accordingly. If your appliance is still inside the manufacturer warranty, check that first, because a brand visit may cost you nothing.

Are your technicians licensed and insured?

We hold the licensing and insurance required to carry out appliance repair work in each of the five states we operate in, and technicians carry identification on every visit. Sealed refrigerant work is performed only by technicians holding EPA Section 608 certification, which is a legal requirement.

How does your pricing work?

Flat rate, not hourly. A service call of $69 to $89 covers travel and the on-site diagnosis, and it is waived once you approve the repair. After the diagnosis you are given one flat price covering parts and labor, and no work begins until you accept it.

What happens after the repair?

The technician runs a full function check before leaving, cycling through the appliance to confirm everything is working as expected. If any concern arises after the visit, call us and we will arrange a return visit to assess it at no additional charge.

Will you tell me if a repair is not worth doing?

Yes, and we do it regularly. A magnetron on a basic countertop microwave, a sealed-system repair on a twelve-year-old refrigerator, a failed disposal motor; all are cases where replacement is the better value. You pay the service call for the diagnosis and nothing more.

How do I make a complaint?

Call (844) 578-2720 and ask for the service manager, or email us. If we cannot resolve it, each state we operate in has an attorney general consumer protection office, and those are linked from the relevant state page on this site. We would rather fix it directly.

Appliance down? Talk to a technician now.

Phone lines are open seven days a week, and the dispatcher can usually offer a same-day or next-morning window. Describe the fault, confirm your ZIP code, and take the slot. Flat-rate pricing is quoted on site before any work starts, and booking costs nothing.
