Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. Written to be read rather than to cover us.

Does this site track me or set cookies?

No. This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, which is why you see no cookie consent banner. The only third-party content on any page is a lazily loaded Google Maps frame showing a service area.

This policy applies to this website and to the appliance repair services provided by Pro Emergency Appliance Repair LLC, trading as Pro Emergency Appliance Repair. Last updated .

No cookies and no tracking

We do not set cookies on this website. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heatmapping or any other third-party tracking script. Because nothing is stored on your device and no behavioural data is collected, there is no consent banner, and there is nothing for you to opt out of.

The one piece of third-party content is an embedded Google Maps frame used to show a service area. It loads only when you scroll it into view. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and basic request information as the operator of that service, under their own privacy terms. If you would rather avoid that entirely, do not scroll the map into view.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you actively give us. There are two ways that happens.

If you call us, we take your name, phone number, service address including ZIP code, the appliance involved and a description of the fault. We need all of it to dispatch a technician to the right place with the right parts.

If you use the callback form, we receive the fields you complete: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, appliance, brand and your description of the problem. Phone and ZIP code are required because without them we cannot call you back or confirm coverage. Everything else is optional.

The form also carries two anti-spam measures that collect no personal data: a hidden field that only automated submissions fill in, and a hidden timestamp used to reject submissions completed in under three seconds. Neither identifies you.

Why we use it

To schedule and carry out the repair you asked for, to call you back about your enquiry, to contact you about that specific job including warranty claims on it, and to keep the records of work performed that we are required to keep.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, advertisers or marketing networks. We do not add you to a marketing list because you booked a repair.

Who we share it with

The technician assigned to your job, who needs your address and the fault description. Our dispatch and scheduling systems, which store the booking. Payment processors, where you pay by card, and they receive only what is needed to take the payment. Parts suppliers, where we order a component for your appliance, and they receive the part and model details rather than your personal information.

We will also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Records of completed work are kept for as long as needed to honour the warranty and to meet tax and legal record keeping obligations, which is typically several years. We do not keep data indefinitely for no reason.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy, no third-party runtime scripts and no cookies. Access to booking records is limited to staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we have deliberately minimised what there is to lose by collecting as little as possible.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@proemergencyappliancerepair.com or call (844) 578-2720. We will respond within thirty days and we will not charge you for a reasonable request.

California residents, CCPA and CPRA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you specific rights, and this section sets out how they apply here.

Categories we collect. Identifiers, meaning your name, phone number, email address and service address. Commercial information, meaning records of the repair services you purchased. We do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation, sensitive personal information, browsing history across other sites, or inferences drawn to build a profile about you.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Because we do not sell or share, there is no Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link to provide.

Your California rights. You have the right to know what we collect and why, the right to access the specific pieces of personal information we hold, the right to delete it subject to our legal retention obligations, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information which we do not collect, and the right not to face discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse you service, charge you a different price or provide a lower quality of repair because you exercised a privacy right.

How to exercise them. Email info@proemergencyappliancerepair.com with "California privacy request" in the subject line, or call (844) 578-2720. We will verify your identity by matching the details against our booking records before acting on a request. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission from you.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified to affected customers directly rather than by a silent edit.

Complaints

Contact us first, because we would rather resolve it directly. If we cannot, you can raise the matter with your state attorney general consumer protection office. General consumer guidance is available from FTC Consumer Advice (opens in a new tab) and USA.gov state consumer protection offices (opens in a new tab) .

Factory-trained technicians, 90-day warranty.

Completed repairs carry a 90-day parts and labor warranty, and our technicians work across every major brand. Common parts ride on the van, so a standard fault has a genuine chance of being fixed on the first visit rather than becoming a return trip.

Mon to Sun, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Call us any day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST.
