Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you book a repair with us, covering quotes, payment, cancellations and the limits of what we are responsible for.
What am I agreeing to when I book a repair?
That the service call fee covers the on-site diagnosis, that absolutely no repair work begins until you have approved a flat price either in writing or verbally on site, and that payment for the completed repair falls due on the day of completion before the technician leaves.
These terms apply to appliance repair services provided by Pro Emergency Appliance Repair LLC, trading as Pro Emergency Appliance Repair. Last updated . Booking an appointment means accepting these terms.
1. Appointments and arrival windows
Appointments are offered as a two-hour arrival window, not a fixed time. The technician will attempt to contact you before setting off. Traffic, the length of a preceding job and circumstances outside our control can move a window, and we will tell you when that happens.
An adult aged eighteen or over must be present for the duration of the visit to authorise the work and accept the flat price. If nobody is present when the technician arrives within the agreed window, the service call becomes payable.
Same-day availability is not guaranteed anywhere. It depends on your ZIP code, technician availability and the time of your call. Where we cannot meet a window we will say so rather than take the booking.
2. Service call and diagnosis
The service call covers travel to your address and the on-site diagnosis of the fault you reported. It ranges from $69 to $89 depending on the market, and the applicable figure is stated before the visit.
The service call is waived in full when you approve the quoted repair, so an approved job costs only the repair price. If you decline the repair, or the appliance is found to be beyond economic repair, the service call remains payable and nothing further is charged.
3. Quotes and pricing
Price ranges published on this website are typical completed-repair bands including parts and labor. They are not quotes, and no figure on this site constitutes an offer to perform work at that price.
The binding figure is the flat-rate quote given on site after diagnosis. It covers the parts and labor required for the specific fault identified. No work begins and nothing is dismantled until you have accepted that quote.
If a second, unrelated fault is identified during the visit, it is quoted separately and you may accept or decline it independently of the first. An accepted quote does not increase because the work proved more time consuming than expected.
4. Parts
Common failure parts are carried on the van, and most repairs complete in a single visit. Where a part must be ordered, we will give you an expected lead time and fit it on a return visit with no additional labor charge for that return.
We fit genuine manufacturer parts where the design requires it and quality equivalent parts otherwise. The technician will tell you which is being used before you approve the work. Parts removed during a repair are disposed of unless you ask to keep them at the time.
We cannot guarantee availability of parts for discontinued models or appliances no longer supported by their manufacturer, and we will tell you if that is the situation.
5. Payment
Payment falls due on completion of the work. No deposit is taken and no booking fee is charged. Accepted payment methods are confirmed by the technician at the point of quoting.
Where a part has been specially ordered at your request and you subsequently cancel, the cost of that part may be charged.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule at no charge by calling (844) 578-2720 before the technician has been dispatched to your address. Once a technician has arrived within the agreed window, the service call becomes payable whether or not work proceeds.
We may cancel or reschedule where a technician is unavailable, where conditions at the property make the work unsafe, or where access to the appliance is not possible. In those cases nothing is charged and we will offer the next available window.
8. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance, including clearing a working path and moving fragile items out of the way. Where an appliance is built in or installed in a confined space, the technician will assess whether it can be accessed safely and may decline to proceed if it cannot.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to flooring, cabinetry, countertops or connections revealed when an appliance is moved, nor for damage arising from an installation that was not carried out to a safe standard before our visit. The technician will point out such conditions before moving anything where practical.
8. Safety and work we will not do
We are an appliance repair company and not an emergency service. We will not attend a gas leak, a fire, active smoke or sparking, and in those situations you must contact your gas utility or 911 first. A technician may decline to work on an appliance they judge unsafe to operate, and may isolate it and advise accordingly.
Work on sealed refrigerant systems is performed only by technicians holding EPA Section 608 certification, as required by law. We do not carry out household plumbing, electrical wiring, gas line or structural work, which require the relevant licensed trade.
9. Limitation of liability
We accept liability for direct loss or damage caused by our negligence in performing the work. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of food spoiled before or during a repair, loss of income, loss of use of the appliance, or costs arising from a delayed appointment. We are not liable for the eventual failure of an appliance we advised should be replaced.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable state or federal consumer protection law, and where any provision conflicts with such a right, that right prevails.
10. Independence from manufacturers
Pro Emergency Appliance Repair is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any appliance manufacturer. Brand names appear on this site only to describe the appliances we service, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Work carried out by an independent repairer may affect a manufacturer warranty still in force on your appliance. If your appliance is within its manufacturer warranty, check that position before engaging us, because a brand-authorised visit may cost you nothing.
11. Website content
Content on this website is provided for general information and does not constitute a diagnosis of your appliance or professional advice for your specific situation. Service life figures and price bands are general guidance and vary with usage, water hardness, ambient conditions and local market rates.
12. Complaints and governing law
Raise a complaint by calling (844) 578-2720 and asking for the service manager, or email info@proemergencyappliancerepair.com. We would rather resolve it directly. If we cannot, the attorney general consumer protection office in your state can assist, and those offices are linked from the relevant state page on this site. General guidance is available from FTC Consumer Advice (opens in a new tab) .
[VERIFY BEFORE LAUNCH] Governing law and venue, registered entity details and state-specific consumer notices require review by qualified counsel before publication. These terms are a drafting starting point and are not legal advice.
One call confirms coverage, cause and cost.
Give the dispatcher your ZIP code and a short description of what the appliance is doing. You will hear whether you are covered, what the likely fault is, roughly what band it falls in, and when a technician can reach you. No deposit required.
